Student Poetry Published in Teen Ink

Six Edgewood High School students recently had poetry works published in the Winter Poetry edition of Teen Ink (visit the website @ www.teenink.com ).  Let's meet these students:

Name: Sarah Konz
Grade:  10th
Info:  Sarah wrote "Heaven's Sprinkler", which is something she wrote about her best friend when she was young.  Sarah has always written, but Mrs. Fugate (EHS English Teacher) taught her to write about things with meaning and she caught on.

Name:  Sarah Curry
Grade:  10th
Info:  The poem Sarah wrote is called "I Do Remember", which she wrote about time she remembers about spending with her grandpa.  Sarah has always been writing poetry and short stories, and when she head of Teen Ink she decided to try and get her poem published and sent it in.  She decided to enter the poem for her grandpa.

Name:  John Frahm
Grade:  10th
Info:  John wrote a poem titled "Insignificance".  The poem was an imagery poem he had written toward the end of his freshman year.  John, also, credits Mrs. Fugate for allowing him the opportunity to write the style of poetry and entering the contest at Teen Ink.

Grade:  10th
