Cougar Baseball Has Strong Showing; Hands Talawanda First League Loss

BASEBALL

EDGEWOOD 16, TALAWANDA 8: Drew Bostic was 4-for-5 with four RBIs on Tuesday for the host Cougars, who boosted their record to 7-10 overall and 3-5 in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Scarlet Division. Justin Elder (two hits, triple, four runs, two steals) and Cody Leichman (3-for-4, double, three RBIs, two steals) added to Edgewood's offense in support of winning pitcher Brennan Kelly. Top hitters for the Braves (10-5, 7-1) were Braden Park (3-for-4, two doubles), Kyle Elza (two hits, two runs) and Kyle Johnson (two RBIs).
