POETRY CLUB
Advisor: Mrs. Simpson
The Edgewood Poetry Club began last winter. We meet weekly to share our love of poetry, both through reading and writing. Last spring, the Poetry Club hosted students from Hamilton High School for a Coffeehouse/Poetry Reading. We also published an anthology of poetry by Edgewood students. Proceeds from the sale of the publication were used to purchase a llama from Heifer International, a world hunger organization that sends livestock to third world countries in order to give families and communities hope and assistance through agricultural and animal projects.
