Sloppy weather, sloppy play doom Cougars

October 12, 2009
By Kieron Boyle of Edgewood High School

The Cougars slipped to 2 - 5 overall, and 1 - 1 in the FAVC Scarelet Division.  The Cougars had been riding a 16-game win streak in the FAVC, having not lost since joining the league.  That streak and the hopes of another trip to playoffs took a blow Friday night.  The game was played on a muddy field, and Ross was able to outlast the Cougars, 16 - 7.

The Cougars take on Talawanda at home this Friday.  All fans are asked to wear white to the game -- Whiteout the Braves!
