Cougar spike Hornets to move onto second round of state tournament!

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

EDGEWOOD 3, MONROE 0: Bryce Bednorz came up with 15 kills, Zach Kennedy doled out 15 assists and Eric Kirby had a solid night from the service line as Edgewood defeated Monroe 25-9, 26-24, 25-19 in the opening round of the Ohio Boys Scholastic Volleyball Coaches Association Division II west regional volleyball tournament Monday, May 18, at Centerville High School. Edgewood (13-12) will now play Chaminade Julienne in round two at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at Centerville. Monroe ends its season with a 3-19 record.
